Academic and Professional Background

Before specializing in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, I earned my medical degree from the Université de Sherbrooke, where I also completed a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. After my specialty training at McGill University, I pursued further studies in Italy, where I developed two subspecialties: one in reconstructive microsurgery and the other in hand surgery.

The knowledge I gained through my studies in kinesiology and medicine allows me to take a holistic view of my patients and tailor treatment plans to each individual. My subspecialties provide me with a broad therapeutic skill set, enabling greater surgical versatility and precision.

About My Practice

A graduate of McGill University with a specialty in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, I perform procedures involving the breasts, face, and body, as well as non-surgical treatments such as injections.

Most of my aesthetic procedures are carried out at the Centre de chirurgie esthétique de Sherbrooke. However, my practice extends well beyond cosmetic surgery. I also serve as a professor and surgeon at the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke (CHUS), where I perform hand surgery, reconstructive procedures, and general plastic surgery. I also hold the position of Director of the Plastic Surgery Program at the Université de Sherbrooke.

In addition, I act as a consultant for Iso-Santé, a Sherbrooke-based company working in occupational health.

My Approach to Surgery

For me, trust must be the foundation of every relationship between a patient and their surgeon. Before performing any procedure, I take all the time needed to explain the surgery, the recovery process, the potential risks, and more. I also make sure to answer all of my patients’ questions and to fully understand their needs.

I believe it is equally important to ensure that my patients have realistic expectations. I take great care to clearly explain the results they can genuinely expect.

Since every person is unique, I tailor each treatment to the individual and ensure that my recommendations align with their goals. I only offer procedures that are recognized, proven, and backed by both safety and effectiveness.
