Thigh Lifts
Thigh lift is mainly used to tighten the skin in the inner thigh. This can be done with a horizontal and/or vertical incision. This is a day surgery carried out under general anesthesia. The procedure is often combined with liposuction and completed by closing the incision using absorbable sutures. Discharge instructions for wound care will be given during the consultation.
Recovery Period
A 6-week recovery period is needed, depending on the extent of the surgery. It is important to get moving as quickly as possible, but strenuous activities must be avoided because of potential complications.
Pressure dressings are applied to improve healing.
Follow-up
Visits will be scheduled one week after the surgery and some weeks later to achieve optimal result.
